The Cardiff Cross Challenge will form the first fixture in the 2018 / 2019 British Athletics Cross Challenge Series

The event has previously welcomed many, if not most of the top British endurance runners including a large number of British Champions such as; Frank Tickner, Peter Riley, Andy Vernon, Louise Damen, Jess Judd and Dewi Griffiths.

In addition, it has hosted several European Cross Country Champions including; Hayley Yelling, Charlotte Purdue and Gemma Steel.

The season opener will provide a great opportunity to face the best British athletes ahead of the European Trials at Liverpool in November and in 2018 will also incorporate an International field of athletes as the fixture continues to grow.

Under 11 Boys & Girls – 1 x Small Lap = 1,250m

Under 13 Boys & Girls – 1 x Medium Lap = 2,780m

Under 15 Boys & Girls – 1 x Big Lap = 3,200m

Under 17 Men – 2 x Medium Lap = 5,560m

Under 17/20 Women – 1 x Small, 1 x Big Lap = 4,450m

Under 20 Men – 2 x Big Lap = 6,400m

Senior Women & Masters – 2 x Big Lap = 6,400m
